the brief

Cotswold Vehicle Transport are a logistics company who relocate vehicles across the UK and Europe for car collectors, garages and for breakdown services.

As a business that relies on trust and credibility, they needed a brand to communicate these values, whilst remaining distinctive against competitors. They want to feel approachable to every-day motorists, whilst also resonating with vehicle enthusiasts.

Cotswold Vehicle Transport came to me wanting a brand rooted in heritage and old-school feel, but clean and modern in execution.

my approach

CVT came to me wanting a brand rooted in heritage and old-school feel, but clean and modern in execution.

The brand needed to resonate with car enthusiasts who would recognise and appreciate the heritage references, while remaining warm and approachable to everyday motorists who simply need a vehicle moved and required a reliable and friendly service.

a brand that speaks two languages at once

Rather than enforcing strict typographic rules, consistency was achieved through the visual system itself, the colour palette, the bold layout grid, and the recurring use of graphic devices that give every asset a considered feel.

Multiple typefaces were used deliberately, leaning into the layered quality of traditional letterpress printing. The bold, blocky headlines keep everything grounded and legible. The result is a brand that can speak two languages at once. It’s characterful enough to resonate with enthusiasts, straightforward enough to never alienate anyone else.

rooted in traditional print, rolled out across digital

The brand rollout spans a full suite of digital and print assets, from a series of social media posts to a printed A5 flyer and personalised delivery card.

On screen, the bold typographic layouts, high-contrast palette, and clean graphic style result in a flexible system that translates to the needs of all aspects of marketing and brand awareness.

On paper, the same design language, rooted in the visual language of vintage print, translates naturally, giving the physical materials an authenticity that digital-first brands often struggle to achieve in print.
